1. Overview
TubePilot ("TubePilot", "we", "us") is developed and operated by Bharat Cloud Technologies. TubePilot helps creators schedule, bulk-upload, and automatically upload videos to their own YouTube channel, including optional automatic uploads from a connected Google Drive account. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
2. Data we collect
We collect the following categories of data when you use TubePilot:
- Account information — name, username, email address or phone number, and a password (stored encrypted) or Google sign-in identifier.
- Video content and metadata — the videos, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and tags you choose to upload.
- Usage and billing data — your free-upload balance, diamond wallet balance, and records of diamond purchase requests (including a payment screenshot and UPI reference you submit for manual verification).
- Device and notification data — push-notification tokens (Firebase Cloud Messaging and OneSignal) so we can alert you about upload status and account activity.
- Referral data — your referral code and the referral code you applied, if any.
3. Google, YouTube & Google Drive data
TubePilot uses YouTube API Services and, optionally, the Google Drive API. When you connect your YouTube channel or your Google Drive account, we request the following access via Google's OAuth consent screen:
- YouTube upload & management access — used solely to upload videos to your own connected channel, on your instruction or on the schedule you set, and to display your channel name, thumbnail, and subscriber count in the app.
- Google Drive read-only access (optional) — used solely to detect video files in the Drive folder you select, so TubePilot can automatically upload them to your YouTube channel at the daily time you choose. We do not modify, move, or delete anything in your Drive.
4. How we use your data
- To upload videos to your connected YouTube channel, as you instruct or schedule.
- To detect and upload videos from your connected Google Drive, only if you've enabled that feature and only from the folder you selected.
- To operate the free-upload and diamond credit system, including sending you a notification if your balance runs out.
- To send you push notifications about upload status, payment approvals, and account activity.
- To provide customer support when you contact us.
- To maintain the security and integrity of the service.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use data obtained through Google APIs for advertising purposes.
5. Third-party services we use
TubePilot relies on the following service providers to operate. Each processes only the data necessary for its function:
- Google / YouTube API Services & Google Drive API — to connect your channel and, optionally, your Drive.
- Cloud storage providers — to temporarily hold your video file during the upload process.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging and OneSignal — to deliver push notifications to your device.
- Database and hosting infrastructure — to store your account and app data securely.
6. Data retention
Video files are held in temporary storage only for as long as needed to complete the upload to YouTube, and are automatically deleted from our temporary storage within 24 hours of a successful upload. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain records (for example, payment records) by law.
7. Your rights & choices
- Disconnect Google access — disconnect your YouTube channel or Google Drive at any time from the app's Profile screen, or revoke access directly from your Google Account.
- Access & correction — you can view and update your profile information within the app.
- Deletion — you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (see Section 11).
- Notifications — you can disable push notifications from your device's system settings at any time.
8. Children's privacy
TubePilot is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections, encrypted password storage, and access controls — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Effective date" at the top of this page. Continued use of TubePilot after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
